Nick is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate through IITAP, the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals. His focus is on sexual addiction counseling with men. Nick is also a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in Idaho and Washington (he offers telehealth counseling for Washington residents).
Nick offers treatment for sex and pornography addiction in men and its related issues, like low emotional literacy, a lack of boundaries, excessive shame, and low self-worth.
Nick considers it an honor to do the work he does. It is a privilege for him to know and walk alongside these men, and he does not take that lightly. He is thankful every day that he gets to be their therapist.
Nick’s desire is simply to help. He strives to make Threshold Counseling a beacon of hope and a service to the greater community of Coeur d’Alene and beyond. May God use it despite him.
Nick and his wife Emily have been married for eleven years and have two young boys. When he is not working, he loves spending time with his family, making his sons laugh, doing anything outdoors and getting sun on his face, reading, writing, learning, and swinging kettlebells. But the most important thing about him is his faith. Following Christ defines him above all else.
